If you're underage, Facebook will kick you out!

Facebook official said that the company uses special mechanism to detect the age of the account holders and those accounts by under-aged children will be deleted soon. Facebook also added that it is alert all the time to deal with this underage users.
"There are people who lie. There are people who are under 13 [accessing Facebook]. Facebook removes 20,000 people a day, people who are underage," Mozelle Thompson, Facebook"s chief privacy adviser said.
In privacy policy, Facebook clearly states that the site is meant for people above 13 years. Facebook will delete the personal information from a child under age 13 and also asked users to contact with the company, if they have any details from a child under age 13. Also, in its parental participation programme, Facebook recommends parents to guide their minors 13 years of age or older about safe internet use practices.
The Facebook official also added that it's present mechanism to identify under age users is "not perfect" and plans to hire more persons to deal with "policy issues".
