We want Google jobs, not Apple: Young professionals

New York, Mar 21: A new survey conducted by a consulting firm in United States revealed that one in four young professionals wants to work with the technology giant Google Inc.

The survey conducted by Universum, a consulting firm that helps companies improve their attractiveness to prospective employees, found that nearly 25 per cent of the total 10,306 young professionals wanted to work with the Android maker Google.

The young professionals, defined as college graduates with one to eight years of work experience, picked Google's biggest rival in smartphone market, Apple as the second most wanted company to work with. The list was followed by Walt Disney Co, the US State Department and Amazon.com.

Universum asked the respondents to choose five ideal companies out of a list of 150. When they have given the chance of picking employers, who were not in list, Respondents selected Facebook Inc, followed by the Department of Homeland Security and the United Nations.
