Wiki-expose: Nitish accuses UPA govt

Nitish Kumar
Patna, Mar 17: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today accused UPA government at the Centre of adopting ''immoral'' values to stay in power in 2008, which, he said, had been ''rightly exposed'' by Wikileaks which alleged that the government had paid money to some MPs for votes then.

Wikileaks report quoting cable by US embassy said the UPA government had paid money to some MPs during the trust vote in Parlaiment over civil nuclear deal for their support.

Referring to Wikileaks expose, Kumar told newsmen outside the state assembly that those in power at the Centre were ''poachers''.

''There is no UPA in power at the Centre, but it is the ''United Poachers Association'', he remarked.
