Google Search app - new search engine for iPhones

New York, Mar 16: Google Inc. has rolled out a new revamped search app for Aple iPhones, changing its name from 'Google Mobile' to 'Google Search.'

The new Google Search app offers a web like experience on iPhones with wider range of functions and attractive user interface. The new UI is almost similar like web Google search engine and it gives one touch access to Google Voice Search.

Another exciting feature on new Google app is its 'Google Goggles' that allows users to search images. The search-by-taking-a-photo function recognizes text in images, logos, iconic buildings etc and allows users to search on that.

The new Google Search for iPhones also provides the ability to pick where the users left off. If the user attended a call while he search, he can go back to the page by tapping the lower half of the page. The toolbar can be accessed by swiping left or right on the screen and allows users to select their search results by images, news, shopping, video, blog, discussion, social and place search.
