Google releases "Speedier, Simpler & Safer" Chrome 10

California, Mar 9: The Android maker Google has unleashed a stable version of its popular internet browser, Chrome 10. Google said the new Chrome 10 is "speedier, simpler and safer" than the other versions.

Google said that they have added 66 per cent improvement in JavaScript performance on the V8 benchmark suite, which makes complex apps to run more quickly and responsively on new Chrome 10. Google made a new simpler interface for Chrome 10 that helps the users to get settings, like including import bookmarks or change browser"s homepage, more quickly.

"We"ve added a search box that shows you the settings you"re looking for, as you type. On top of that, you can also copy and paste a direct link into Chrome"s address bar to jump to a specific settings page," Google said in its blog.

The new Chrome 10 allows synchronizing passwords across the computers. Also, it added password encryption for extra security. The password synchronization setting would be available in “Personal Stuff" section in Chrome"s settings.

Another additional feature on Chrome 10 is the sandboxing technology to the integrated Flash Player. Those who are using Windows Vista or newer versions will benefit from the additional layer of protection against malicious web pages. Users can download the new Chrome 10 or can update it from the browser itself.
