Kalmadi insists that CBI has nothing incriminating

Suresh Kalmadi
Pune, Mar 5: Suresh Kalmadi, the sacked chairman of Commonwealth Games Organising Committee has claimed that CBI sleuths who conducted raids at his Pune residence haven't found anything incriminating against him.

Addressing party-workers, Kalmadi said, "CBI officials came to my place. But what have they found? They could find only that is recorded in income tax returns filed by me. They have found nothing against me."

Kalmadi, reasserted that he didn't do anything wrong in the organising of the CWG and said, "Everything is fine. I am ready for any enquiry and will answer all questions."

The Congress MP from Pune, dismissed speculations that he was missing and said that he would never do anything to bring disrepute to Pune. He also said that hosting the Games in Delhi led to an improvement in the infrastructure of the city.
