Three Keralites arrive from Libya
Kochi, Feb 27 (PTI) Three Keralites, who reached herefrom Libya, today said they were relieved to be back fromtrouble-torn country and recounted how they saw people beingkilled brutally and their bodies dumped in waste bins.
Jijimon Joseph, hailing from Kottayam, said he wasshocked at the violence being perpetrated around. People werebeing hacked to death, body parts being thrown into waste binsand looting was on everywhere, he told reporters at theairport here after arriving from Delhi.
Joseph said he had 2,500 Libyan dinars and one of theattackers at first took everything, but later returned 2,000dinars.
The other two -- Mohammed Sali, working in an oilcompany, and Easy Joseph, both from Kochi -- said they havenot yet decided whether to return after the situation becomesnormal in Libya.
They said their first priority was to return to Keralasafe.
The three had arrived at Delhi yesterday.
