Thieves steal AC from Pandher''s house

Noida, Feb 27 (PTI) Thieves broke into the house ofNoida-based businessman Moninder Singh Pandher and stole anair-conditioner and some other items, police said today.

"Theft took place last night at his D-5 Sector 31 houseand was reported today," said B K Srivastava, DeputySuperintendent of Police (Noida).

The main and some other doors were found open and anair-conditioner and some small items were found missing, hesaid.

No one stays at the house which has been sealedfollowing recovery of several skulls from a drain at itsbackyard on December 29, 2006.

An FIR has been registered against unknown thieves, heSrivastava.

54-year-old Pandher is lodged Dasna jail in Ghaziabad.

Sixteen cases were registered in connection with the Nitharikillings. Pandher was sentenced to death in a case but he wasacquitted by the Allahabad High Court. Pandher was booked insix cases.
