Rape victim taken to Aurangabad for investigation

Aurangabad, Feb 27 (PTI) The 20-year old girl who wasallegedly raped by the NCP MLA Dilip Wagh on the pretext offinding a job for her was brought to Aurangabad today by theNashik police for investigation.

Police sources said that the victim was accompanied byAPI Swapnali Shinde and PI Manohar Dabhade and taken todifferent places.

The Nashik police visited her residence here as well asthe educational institute where the victim worked as securityguard. The police also interrogated the people around herresidence.

It was not immediately known as to what the police wereinvestigating and why they were taking the victim around thecity.

Later, the police team returned to Nashik along with thevictim.
