NSDC joins hands with TMI to train graduates

Hyderabad, Feb 27 (PTI) Aiming to fill the gap betweenthe expectations of employers and jobseekers, HR serviceprovider Talent Management International (TMI), in associationwith government body National Skill Development Corporation,will launch academies in different states.

The academy launched in Andhra Pradesh called �e2EAcademy Private Limited'' will launch 44 courses over a periodof time to train fresh graduates and diploma holders invarious sectors from telecom to retail and banking toautomobiles to IT and FMCG, Managing Director of the e2EAcademy T Muralidharan said.

The joint venture is planning to create jobs for overfive lakh employable graduates in the country over the next 10years. TMI Group will invest about 30 crore during thisperiod.

"Cost of training will be partly paid by the student andpartly by the employer. The employee will get a �RetentionBonus'' after 18 months of continuous work with the employer,"Muralidharan said.

The academies will be launched across the country withfocus on students from 374 backward districts across the stateidentified by the Ministry of Human Resources, he explained.

D Purandeswari, Minister of State for Human ResourceDevelopment who formally launched the academy online said asmany as 18 ministries at the central level have been jointlycoordinating the skill development programs at various levels.
