Former Pak Foreign Minister Qureshi denies forming separate group
Islamabad, Feb 28(ANI): Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that he is not forming any separate group against the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).
"I don't want any rift within my party," the News quoted Qureshi, as saying.
He also said that he had been unable to meet President Asif Ali Zardari due to the latter's busy schedule.
Qureshi was not among the 22 ministers sworn in on February 11 as part of the 'right-sized' cabinet, that was put together in place of the over-sized ministry of the past three years.
The 54-year-old was apparently also offered the Water and Power Ministry, but he rejected it.
Hina Rabbani Khar, former Finance Minister, has been given the charge of Foreign Ministry. (ANI)
