Brother, sister killed in road accident

Rourkela, Feb 28 (PTI) A man and his sister wereknocked down and killed on the spot when their bicycle washit by a jeep on the Ring Road of Rourkela Steel city herelast evening.

Police said the victim, Ajay Marandi (50) and hissister while returning from a relative''s house on theirbicycle was hit by a speeding jeep.

The sister had come to her brother''s house to meetsome of her relatives.

The driver of the jeep tried to run away but wascaught by the people and handed over to police.

Ajay was working as a daily wage earner, the policesaid.
