Woman, paramour arrested for killing NRI husband

Batala (Punjab), Feb 26 (PTI) A woman along with herparamour and three others were arrested today for the murderof her NRI husband, police said here today.

Gurpreet Kaur, her paramour Pawan Kumar, Lalit Kumar,Baljit Singh and Kuldip Singh were arrested for killingParamjit Singh on February 22.

"Paramjit Singh had come from USA to his native villageKundo Lalowal in Gurdaspur district on January 19. On February17, he along with his wife and son went to meet his in-laws atBahadur village," Gurdaspur SSP Varinder Pal Singh said.

On February 22, Pawan along with his three accompliceskilled Paramjit when he visited a gurudwara while returning tohis native village, the SSP said.

Police have impounded the car and weapons used in thecrime.
