"No dearth of foodgrain for BPL": Gov
Dehradun, Feb 26 (PTI) Claiming that the ''Atal FoodgrainScheme'' has been a success for people living below povertyline, state government today said that there is no dearth offoodgrain for the needy.
"The scheme is running successfully in the whole statewith full transparency, and all the districts of the state arebeing inquired on daily basis for efficiency" CommissionerFood supply, Suvardhan said.
"Out of 8,222 cheap ration shops 7,343 shops have pickedup the ration and formalities are being completed for theremaining ones" Commissioner said.
Daily analysis of the schemes at the state headquarter isbeing done and a special arrangement is made to accommodate acontrol room for this purpose at Food supply office, Suvardhanadded.
