Nirupam criticises Railway budget

Burdwan(WB), Feb 26 (PTI) West Bengal Commerce andIndustry minister Nirupam Sen today criticised the Railwaybudget presented by Mamata Banerjee.

Sen alleged Banerjee announces a new train or a newproject every day but asked when will the new trains startrunning.

"Practically everyday you will find Banerjee making somenew announcements and she has become announcement ministerinstead of railway minister," he alleged.

He said in the budget she has announced so many projectsbut to set up the projects you will need land. Where will sheget the land, he asked.

Sen said when we wanted to set up a Tata''s small carfactory in Singur, she opposed it saying no factory could beset up in agricultural land, now she has announced setting upa metro coach factory in the same place.
