HP Assembly budget session from February 28, budget on March 9

Shimla, Feb 26 (PTI) the 40-day budget session ofHimachal Pradesh Assembly would commence here on February 28with the customary address by Governor Urmilla Singh.

Chief Minister, P.K.Dhumal, who also holds the financeportfolio, would present the budget for 2011-12 on March 9.

The session would have a 9-day recess from March 19 toMarch 27 to enable the departmental committees to scrutinizethe budget proposals and submit the report on March 28,Speaker Tulsi ram said.

There would be 24 sittings during the session, includingtwo private member�s days.

The supplementary budget for 2010-11 and other businesswould also be taken up during the session. PTI/PCL
