1 killed, 13 injured in clash

CSM Nagar (UP), Feb 26 (PTI) One person was killed and 13others were injured in a clash between a ration shop owner andresidents of Raniganj village here today, police said.

The clash was triggered after the ration shop ownerLallan Mishra in a fit of rage over a complaint against himbeat the husband of the village head.

Later, villagers set the shop on fire and also damagedhis vehicles including a tractor and a jeep, they said.

The situation took an ugly turn when Mishra opened firekilling a 55-year-old man on the spot and injuring 13 others,police said.
