Official: Angry Birds arriving on WP7 in Apr 2011

After scoring a great success on iOS and the Android platform, Angry Birds maker Rovio decided to extend their hands to Windows Phone 7 devices. With the strategic alliance between Microsoft and Nokia, we can expect a series of smartphones running on WP7 OS and also capable of playing your favourite games.
Earlier we reported Rovio's plan to launch the 3D version of Angry Birds, that would be available on LG Optimus 3D. The Angry Birds game will be available on the Windows Phone Marketplace download portal. The WP7 version of Angry Birds would be compatible with the Xbox Live service.
According to various reports, Angry Birds will hit the WP7 platform by Apr 2011 along with other popular games like Doodle Jump, Plants vs Zombies, Hydro Thunder Go, Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode I and geoDefense. The pricing details of Angry Birds are not yet available.
