Mother, son thrashed for mistreating neighbours'' goat

Ghaziabad, Feb 26 (PTI) A woman and her son, who haddriven their neighbours'' goat out of their house, wereallegedly beaten up by the animal''s owners in Bhojpur area ofthe district, police said today.

Shanno and her son Aamir were severely beaten by theirneighbours last evening after they drove the neighbours'' goatout of their house with a stick, police said.

The goat belonged to Yakub who, along with his son,thrashed the mother-son duo with iron rods, the police said,adding that a case has been registered and search for theculprits is on as they are absconding.

The victims were admitted in a local private hospital inModinagar, they added.
