Youth stabbed to death

New Delhi, Feb 24 (PTI) A 26-year-old man hailing fromBihar was stabbed to death with a screwdriver after heresisted a robbery attempt in southwest Delhi, police saidtoday.

The incident took place in Sagarpur last night and thedeceased has been identified as Virender Kumar, who works inan embroidery unit here.

He was intercepted by four men when he was returning homefrom work and was asked to hand over cash and otherbelongings. When he resisted, they stabbed him with ascrewdriver, police said.

Locals informed police who rushed him to a nearbyhospital where he was declared brought dead.

Some persons have been detained in connection with theincident but no arrests have been made so far.
