VC surrenders, granted bail

Gaya(Bihar), Feb 25 (PTI) The Vice-Chancellor of JaiPrakash Narayan University, Chapra, Dinesh Prasad Sinha todaysurrendered in a court in Gaya district and was granted bailin connection with a case registered against him by a Bhojpurisinger.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Ram Sevak NarainPandey granted bail to Sinha on furnishing a bond for Rs 5000.

Bhojpuri singer Devi had lodged an FIR in Bodh Gayapolice station on February 23 last against the Vice-Chancellorunder various provisions of the Indian Penal Code for behavingwith her at a stage show in Bodh Gaya on February 18 last. PTICOR KDK
