Two booked for using defamatory terms against lady colleague
Madurai, Feb 25 (PTI) Two officials of the HinduReligious and Charitable Endowment Board have been booked forallegedly using defamatory language against a woman employeeof the department.
According to police and HR and CE officials, Chief AuditOfficer, Balakrishnan and Deputy Chief Auditor of MaduraiRegion, Sivanesan, had allegedly used defamatory languageagainst Assistant Audit officer Shanthi during an audit heldat Sri Meenakshi temple on Jan 27, 2009.
Shanthi complained to the HR and CE Commissioner and StateWomen''s Commission, which conducted an enquiry and recommendedto the Commissioner that the two officials be booked under thePrevention of Atrocities against Women Act.
