Three robbers held

New Delhi, Feb 24 (PTI) Police today arrested three menfor allegedly robbing nearly Rs 6 lakh from two persons whenthey were on their way to buy a property at Karala in outerDelhi.

Mannu (26), Deepak (24) and Narveer (21) were arrestedfrom Rohini last night, hours after they committed the crime,when they were trying to flee to a hill station, police said.

The trio allegedly robbed Rs 5.74 lakh from one BalvinderSingh and his friend Naveen after stopping their car in RamaNagar in Karala yesterday.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the trio in Rohiniwhen they were on their way to Mussourie for with the stolenmoney.

"During interrogation, the trio confessed to havecommitted the crime," police said, adding that the trio didnot change the number plate of the car which led to them.

The three usually change number plates of their car aftercommitting a crime, they said.
