Reddy launches Advantage AP website

Hyderabad, Feb 24 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh is still ahappening place despite the many problems it was facing, ChiefMinister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has said.

Launching the Advantage AP website www.advantageap.in asa precursor to the two-day Advantage AP Information Technologyconference here today, the Chief Minister noted that thepresence of many major IT companies in Hyderabad in itself wasa motivating factor for students in the state.

He wished all success for the conference to be held atthe Hyderabad International Convention Centre here on March 1and 2.

Several major IT companies from India and abroad willtake part in the event being organised by the stateInformation Technology and Communications Department toattract investments into the state, particularly the Tier-2cities likes Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Warangal and Tirupati.

State IT Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah, IT PrincipalSecretary K Ratna Prabha, heads of several IT companiesattended.
