Rain occurred at a few places in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 25 (PTI):Rain occurred at a fewplaces in kerala, very light rain occurred at Lakshadweep.

According to meteorology sources here, the chief amountsof rainfall in centimetres are:Punalur 5, Arayankavuand Kuppady 4 each, CIAL Kochi, Kozhikode and Nadumamgad 3each, TVM airport and Kajirappally 2 each, Kottayam,Perumbavoor and Thodupuzha 1 each.

CIAL Kochi,Kannur and Punalur recorded the lowest minimumtemperature of 22 degree celsius.

Forcast valid until the morning of 27th Feb 2011:Rain or thundershower will occur at isolated places Kerala andLakshadweep.
