One killed, six injured in house collapse

Barabanki, Feb 24 (PTI) A 14-year-old boy was killedtoday and six others injured when the balcony of a housecollapsed in Ramnagar area here, police said.

The incident occured this afternoon when the balconyof a house from where a number of people were watching a''Barawafat'' procession, taken out to mark the birthanniversary of Prophet Mohammad, collapsed in Suratganj town,they said.

The deceased has been identified as Mohd Rizwan, whodied on the spot.

Police said the injured were admitted to the districthospital where their condition was stated to be stable. PTICORR AVA PG
