Miscreants try to hurl chilly powder at Rajasthan minister

Jaipur, Feb 24 (PTI) A few miscreants tonight tried tohurl chilly powder on Rajasthan Minister of State for Medicaland Health Rajkumar Sharma when he went to attend a marriagefunction in the state''s Jhunjhunu district, the police said.

The miscreants came in a four wheeler and threw chillypowder aimed at Sharma as soon as he came out of his vehicleto attend the function at a village in Nawalgarh town,Additional SP of Jhunjhunu Bihari Lal told PTI.

The miscreants were thwarted by the minister''s policeescort. But they managed to flee from there, he added.

A few persons were rounded up in connection with theincident and are being quizzed by the police.
