Maha BJP to launch protest against Mafia

Mumbai, Feb 25 (PTI) BJP today said that it will launch astatewide protest ''Mafia Hatao-Maharashtra Bachao'' fromtomorrow in the backdrop of the killing of Additional DistrictCollector of Malegaon, Yashwant Sonawane.

The protest would start from Chandwand in Nashik districtwhere Sonawane was burt alive and would conclude with aprotest march in Mumbai on March 14, a BJP spokesperson said.

"The party would raise its voice against land, oil, sandand milk mafia in the next two weeks. Senior BJP leadersGopinath Munde, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Eknath Khadse andPandurang Phudkar would participate in the protest," thespokesperson said.
