Karna budget session to end on March 10
Bangalore, Feb 25 (PTI) The on-going budget session of theKarnataka legislatures will end on March 10, the BusinessAdvisory Committee that met here today has decided.
As per the provisional plan, the session was to conclude onMarch 17 with 15 working days.
Now it has been curtailed by five working days.
The BAC, chaired by Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah decided toconclude the session on March 10 to facilitate members toattend the World Kannada Conference to be held at Belgaum fromMarch 11-13, Legislature Secretariat sources said.
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa presented the state''s2011-12 budget in the session that opened yesterday.
