Have a complaint against LS MP; refer matter to Speaker
New Delhi, Feb 24 (PTI) If you feel any member of the LokSabha is engaging in unethical behaviour, you may soon be ableto make a complaint to the Speaker.
The Committee on Ethics of the Lok Sabha todayrecommended a set of rules for dealing with complaints ofunethical behaviour of members of the Lower House.
According to the procedure recommended by the Committee,any person can make a complaint regarding unethical behaviourof a Lok Sabha member directly to the Speaker.
But at the same time, in a bid to prevent frivolouscomplaints, it has been made mandatory for the complainant todeclare his identity which would be kept secret if so desired.
The complaint should be based on evidences and not onmedia reports, the draft rules suggested by the Committeesaid. .
