Student stabbed to death at school

Bhavnagar, Feb 24 (PTI) A teenager has been arrested foralleged murder of his schoolmate at Dhanesh Mehta School here,police said.

The incident took place inside the school compound today.

One Dharmesh Baraiya (14), studying in std 9th, was allegedlystabbed by about 5-6 students following a petty spat, policesaid.

According to police, Dharmesh sustained injuries on thechest and abdomen and died on the way to the hospital.

A boy named Shahid (name changed) had been detained andinvestigation was on about roles of others, police said. PTICorr PB PD KRK
