Spices Board to celebrate 24th birthday
Kochi,Feb24 PTI) Spices Board would celebrate the 24th yearof its formation tomorrow.
Constituted by an Act of Parliament, the board, based here,came into existence in 1987 through the amalgamation of SpicesExport Promotion Council and the Cardamom Board.
The celebrations would be held under the leadership of V JKurian, Board Chairman, a press release said.
Leading writer, poet and film lyricist, Murugan Kattakadawill be Chief Guest.
Kurian will give away awards to children of the employeeswho have excelled in various public exams.The Board''semployees are also staging a variety of entertainmentprogrammes to commemorate the event being organised by theSpices Board Staff Club.
