ABVP leader killed in road accident

Dehra Dun, Feb 24 (PTI) A student leader associated withthe ABVP was killed in a road accident at Aarhal Bazar areanear the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) here, police todaysaid.

Anuj Singh (24) was found in a seriously injuredcondition by passers-by late last night and taken to ahospital where he was declared brought dead, they said.

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) leader hadgone to the ISBT to drop his friend and police suspect thatsome unidentified vehicle might have hit him.

Singh was pursuing LLB and had unsuccessfully contestedthe DAV PG College Students'' Union election on ABVP ticket in2009.
