Mayawati transfers three SP level officers

Ghaziabad, Feb 22 (PTI) To control crime in the district,Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today transfered threeSP level officers here.

SSP Raghubir Lal was given a warning of two months toimprove the law and order situation while SP (Rural) M M Beg,SP (city) A K Vijeta and SP (crime) Jai Prakash have beentransfered, officials said, adding, the posts will be filledin a few days.

Meanwhile, District Magistrate of Ghaziabad HrideshKumar and District Magistrate of Noida Deepak Kumar receivedappreciation letters from the Chief Minister for betterimplementation of government welfare policies, they added.

Yesterday Mayawati transferred four police officers ofGautam Buddha Nagar district, including its SSP, and orderedthe creation of a new UP NCR Police Zone.
