Youth arrested for shooting at ex-employer''s wife
New Delhi, Feb 22 (PTI) A youth was arrested in thenational capital for allegedly opening fire at his employer''swife after he was sacked for misbehaviour, police said today.
Wasim (22) was apprehended from his sister''s residence inGhonda yesterday, hours after he shot at Shahnaz, wife ofSarin Khan, at their factory in Bhajanpura.
"Shahnaz suffered a bullet injury on her right shoulder.
She is undergoing treatment in GTB hospital," DCP (North-East)S K Jain said.
Wasim, who hails from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh and wasresiding in Maharani Bagh, used to work in Khan''s factory forthe past two years but was sacked over complaints of hisbehaviour and conduct.
"Angered by his dismissal, he decided to teach Khan alesson. He felt great humiliation and insult. On February 21,he reached the factory and confronted Shahnaz," Jain said.
Wasim allegedly obtained a country-made pistol from oneof his friend Nahna in Rampur to commit the crime.
