Panaji, Feb 22 (PTI) NCP today said that a decisionregarding the party''s role in the Goa government and its stateunit would be taken in Delhi on Wednesday.
NCP leader and former Tourism Minister Fransisco MickyPacheco, who met party chief Sharad Pawar in Delhi, said theywill have another crucial round of talks tomorrow.
Senior state NCP leaders led by Pacheco have been campingin Delhi since the last two days after they were summoned byPawar.
The Delhi trip is a follow up of NCP''s state executives''threat to resign en-mass from the party.
The leaders are rallying behind Pacheco, who has not beeninducted in the cabinet by the Congress-led state governmentalthough NCP high command has cleared his induction.
Pacheco, who met Pawar on Tuesday in Delhi, said themeeting was fruitful.
"Things are working in right direction. We have beenasked to stay back in Delhi for another round of talkstomorrow," he said adding that NCP general secretary PrafulPatel will also take part in it.
"Some "important" decisions on the future of the party''sGoa unit and its role in the state government would be takenin the meeting," Pacheco said.
NCP''s national leaders including A P Sangma, NiveditaMane were present for Tuesday''s meeting in which Goa unit wasrepresented by Pacheco, state general secretaries VenkateshMoni, Prakash Fadte, secretaries Irwin Soares, Anil Jolapureand senior leader Lyndon Monteiro. (More) PTI RPS VKV
