XLRI to honour Nitish Kumar
Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Feb 21 (PTI) Reputed businessschool here XLRI School of Business and Human Resources hasdecided to confer Sir Jehangir Ghandy award to Bihar ChiefMinister Nitish Kumar at its convocation next month.
"We have decided to confer the 55th Sir JehangirGhandy award to Kumar for his outstanding contribution towardssocial development," XLRI Director Fr. E Abraham said today.
He said the award, which was conferred topersonalities contributing in the field of Industrial peaceand Social development will be conferred on Kumar during XLRIconvocation to be held here on March 26.
Appreciating Kumar for his leadership quality, he saidthe Bihar chief minister has brought about a major change inthe state and carried out development.
