Weather summary for MP, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha

Nagpur, Feb 21 (PTI) Following is the combined weathersummary for Madhya pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha issuedby the Nagpur Regional Meteorological centre here today.

Summary: Light to rather heavy rainfall occurred at fewplaces over Chhattisgarh and at isolated places over eastVidarbha, Madhya Pradesh. Mainly dry weather prevailed overrest of the region. Minimum temperature appreciably fell oversouth west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and south east MadhyaPradesh and changed little over rest of the region.

Chief amount of rainfall in cms are: Rajnandgaon 4,Champa and Durg 2 each, Raipur, Mana and Jagdalpur 1 each.

Bramhapuri recorded the highest maximum temperature of 32d cls. Raisen and Riwa recorded the lowest minimumtemperature of 8 d cls.

Forecast: Rain, thundershower would occur at few placesover Chhattisgarh and isolated places over east Vidarbha andmainly dry weather would prevail over rest of the region.

Warning: Rain, thundershower, hailstorm may occur atisolated places over Chhattisgarh during next 24 hours.

Local forecast: Mainly clear sky, with chance of rain orthundershower. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around28 and 15 d cls respectively.

Farmers bulletin: Rain or thundershower would occur atisolated places over east Vidarbha and mainly dry weatherwould prevail over west Vidarbha.

Out look: Slight fall in night temperature.
