TRS taunts Andhra Cong leaders for failing to meet Sonia

Hyderabad, Feb 20 (PTI) TRS today taunted the CongressMLAs and other leaders from Telangana region for not beingable to secure appointment with party president SoniaGandhi during their recent four-day trip to Delhi.

"They could not get appointment with their partyleadership. How do we believe that they will achieve separatestatehood," TRS MLA, and party president K Chandrasekhar Rao''sson, K T Rama Rao told reporters here.

A group of ruling Congress MLAs and MLCs from Telanganaregion had recently camped in Delhi to obtain a favourableassurance from the high command on the Telangana demand.

They met several top leaders in the national capitalincluding Union Home Minister P Chidambaram.
