Three held for arms trading

Barasat (WB), Feb 20 (PTI) Three persons were arrestedon the charge of illegal arms trade at Shyamnagar underJagaddal police station in North 24 Parganas district today.

Additional Superintendent of Police Dhrubajyoti Desaid four persons were trading arms when local people becamesuspicious and captured them.

While they beat up three persons, the fourth onemanaged to flee.

The police reached at the spot by then and arrestedthe three, De said adding two of the trio were admitted tohospital.

Four pipeguns, two cartridge and four bombs wereseized from the arrested persons.
