Special courts in MP for early disposal of corruption cases

Bhopal, Feb 21 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh Governor RameshwarThakur today said the state government will set up specialcourt for early disposal of matters related to corruption.

"The state government has also decided to frame lawsto attach properties amassed by public servants throughcorrupt means," the Governor said in his inaugural address atthe Budget Session of the State Assembly.

Thakur said the law and order situation and internalsecurity in Madhya Pradesh was much better placed and addedthat vacant posts in the police were being filled.

He said the state government was committed to providinggood administration and pointed out for this public hearingswere being held every week in government offices to hear thepeople''s problems.

The Governor outlined in detail the State government''sachievements in various fields including tourism, developmentof cities, technical education, health facilities andempowerment of women.
