Protesting bad condition of roads, residents block traffic
Ambala, Feb 21 (PTI) Residents, protesting dilapidatedcondition of roads, today took out a march and blocked trafficon the busy Ambala-Hissar highway here.
Raising slogans against the government, a large numberof residents of sector nine of the Urban Estate took out acandle-light march near the Grain Market, officials said.
Protesting what they said dilapidated condition ofroads in their area, they staged a sit-in on the Ambala-Hissarroad and blocked traffic for an hour.
Hundreds of vehicles were stranded on both sides of thehighway.
The blockade was lifted at around 2000 hrs after theadministartion assured them that it would look into theirdemands.
