''Police to be made more responsive in Faizabad''
Faizabad, Feb 20 (PTI) A more responsive and effectivepolicing system would be put on place for the redressal ofpublic complaints in the district, a senior police officialsaid today.
DIG, Faizabad, Ashok Mutha Jain said his prioritywould be to build a healthy relationship between police andpublic for effective policing.
Under this policing system, public can register theircomplaint through telephone by dialling 100 if their complaintis not registered, he added.
The complainant will get an identification number oncethe complaint is registered. They can also know the status ofpolice action on their complaint under the RTI Act, he said.
A Facebook account for Faizabad Police would becreated, which would help the people to register theircomplaints online, the DIG said.
