One killed, two injured as wall collapses in Secunderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 20 (PTI) An auto-driver was killed andanother two persons sustained serious injuries after a part ofthe wall of an under-renovation building fell on somerickshaws in Secunderabad this evening, police said.

The incident occurred at around 4 pm when part of thewall of an old building (of SBH Bank) which was underrenovation collapsed and debris fell on autorickshaws that hadqueued up to fill up CNG at an adjacent petrol bunk, theysaid.

An auto-driver identified as Shekhar and two others whosustained serious injuries were rushed to hospital, a policeofficer said adding that Shekar died while undergoingtreatment.

Police along with municipal officials were carrying outthe relief work and search was on to find out if anybody wastrapped under the debris, he said.

Mahankali police were further investigating the matter.
