Michelle Obama still hoping for invitation to Royal Wedding
London, Feb 21 (ANI): First Lady Michelle Obama still appears to be hopeful of being invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.
"If I get invited, I'll go," the Telegraph quoted Mrs. Obama as saying.
She conceded, however, that, as things stand, she had not been invited.
Her comment might exasperate senior courtiers who had to juggle the dates around the first time because White House officials were not at first certain when Barack Obama and his wife would make their first state visit to Britain.
Not wanting the two events to clash, the Obama administration subsequently agreed May 24 to 26, almost a month after the royal wedding, as the dates for his visit. (ANI)
