Leopard kills 12-year-boy in JK

Jammu, Feb 21 (PTI) In yet another case of man-animalconflict, a 12-year boy was killed by a leopard in Jammu andKashmir''s Doda district, police said here today.

The incident took place last night at Charota villagewhen the boy came out of the house to attend a nature''s call,they said.

The animal dragged him towards the forest area. Onhearing his cries, locals rushed to the spot and attacked theleopard with sticks and rods, forcing it to flee.

The boy was rushed to a hospital where he was declaredbrought dead, police said.
