Folk singer complains against Bihar VC

Gaya (Bihar), Feb 20 (PTI) An eminent folk singer hascharged that the Vice Chancellor of Jayaprakash NarayanUniversity, Chapara, Dinesh Prasad Sinha and his aides havemisbehaved with her during a stage show at Bodhgaya in Biharon February 18.

Devi told reporters here today that Sinha and his aideshad misbehaved with her when she had gone to Bodhgaya for thecultural programme.

"I have lodged a formal complaint with the seniorsuperintendent of police of Gaya seeking legal action againstthe VC and his aides," she said.

Sinha, however, dismissed her allegation and claimedthat he was not present in Bodhgaya on February 18.

"I have taken the matter seriously and I''ll file adefamation case against the folk singer for her design tosully my image and credibility," he said.
