Five militants killed in US drone attack in South Waziristan
Peshawar, Feb 21(ANI): At least five militants were killed in a suspected US drone strike in northwest Pakistan's South Waziristan tribal district, officials have said.
According to reports, an unmanned US Predator drone fired three missiles at a house in Kaza Panga village, situated about 15 kilometres from Wana, the main town in South Waziristan.
"Five militants were killed in the strike. The target was a house used by militants," the Dawn quoted a military official, as saying.
The attack was the first since an American citizen Raymond Davis shot dead two Pakistanis in Lahore on January 25, triggering a diplomatic row between the US and Pakistan. (ANI)
