FIR lodged against builder

Noida, Feb 20 (PTI) An FIR was lodged here today againsta builder for not completing a housing project on time.

About fifty allottees of Aura Chiera residendial schemeof Ghaziabad alleged in the FIR that Nitishree Builders didnot complete the project as per schedule despite payment of 95per cent of the amount for the flats allotted to them.

Work at the site is held up and only 60 per cent of theproject has so far been completed, they alleged in the FIR.

They were to be given possession of the flats by April2009.

"An FIR has been lodged. It will be clubbed with earliercomplaints against the builder," a police official said.

Director of Nitishree Builders, Anil Jain, who wasarrested last year following complaints by some allottees, isalready in jail while two other accused are absconding, hesaid.
