BJP ''disheartened'' with President''s speech

New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) The BJP today said it was"disheartened" with the President''s address to Parliament asit offered "no solution" to the problems of price rise,corruption and black money.

"We are basically disheartened after hearing her(President) speech," BJP leader SS Ahluwalia told reportersoutside Parliament.

He said while the President Pratibha Patil mentionedprice rise, corruption, black money and other issues, "she hasnot told us about any solution to the problems in her speech.

"She has given only one assurance that my governmentis committed. But committed to what we do not know," Ahluwaliasaid.

"In her budget speech, she has only identified thoseissues which are identified by principal opposition and otheropposition parties," the BJP leader said.

"Whether it is price rise or corruption, or blackmoney, or other issues.... We saw the same issues... she isreading paragraph after paragraph from her speech," he said.
